From the Artist:

This picture of a lonely elevator is actually a fairly accurate likeness of one next to the BNSF tracks just west of Wyarno, here in northern Wyoming where I live. After having moved to this area several years ago the first time I saw this old and unused landmark it has become a visual symbol that reminds me of my roots and boyhood. It makes me realize that in some ways the farm life that I grew up in is changing and being lost.
May God preserve our farm culture from the ravages of an indiscriminate technological modernity.
