There was a time on the farm when work ceased for a day and, except for a few morning and evening chores, all laborers were given a well deserved rest. This picture of two draft horses lazily switching flies from his teammate's face while standing under the canopy shade of a large hardwood tree captures the timeless tradition of a Sunday day of rest.
